The UU Quilt Group started in the summer of 2009 with the goal of making quilts for members of the community facing challenges. Through a cooperative agreement with our sister organization, The Hummingbird Stitchers Quilt Guild, the UU Quilters have donated over 170 quilts to the community since they began.  Membership in the group is open  to quilters and wannabes. Karen Horton provides instruction while sewing machines, tools and supplies are all provided. We have a great time socializing and sewing while providing quilts made with love for those in need. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 12:00-3:00 in the community room of the church.
